A MESSAGE FROM JORGINA SHEEHY, HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES, MERCEDES-BENZ FINANCIAL SERVICES AUSTRALIA

Our culture is often described as being like a family; caring, collaborative and compassionate. Our workplace is often at times quite demanding and so there is great importance on us to protect and evolve our culture by providing strong employee experiences and continue to enhance engagement throughout the employee lifecycle, so that we attract and retain the best talent.

We saw an opportunity to provide more support to employees and line managers and close the communication gap for both whilst an employee is on parental leave. Therefore, we entered into a partnership with Circle In to provide a bespoke parental leave portal to help you stay connected before, during and following your return from leave. Featuring on-demand resources, news and communication, including real life stories from your colleagues, it is designed to be accessed at the time and place of your choosing.

My wish is that we have as many of you return to work after what has been an incredibly rewarding, challenging and life-changing journey, and you feel supported and equipped to continue the career journey you have worked so hard to carve out. I would also love to see more dads take the opportunity to have precious time with their babies!
