Terms and Conditions applicable to Circle In’s Prize Draw for Real Story contributors

Application of Terms and Conditions: These Terms and Conditions apply to Circle In’s e-gift card prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) for contributors of ‘Real Stories’ to Circle In (each, a “Contributor”). By submitting a Real Story contribution to Circle In, all Contributors are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Promoter’s details: The Promoter of the Prize Draw is Circle In Pty Ltd (ABN 74 609 227 018), having its registered office at Suite G6, 175 Sturt St, Southbank, Victoria 3006. Australia (“Circle In”).
3. Duration of Prize Draw: The Prize Draw is scheduled to commence on August 18th 2022 and will continue until terminated by Circle In.
4. Eligibility: Eligibility for the Prize Draw is open to Contributors who complete a submission of one or more ‘Real Stories’ for publication on the Circle In platform and agree to the applicable terms and conditions in relation to such submission(s). Circle In reserves discretion to draw winners from Contributors whose Real Stories are actually published on the Circle In platform during the relevant period, rather than the total pool of Real Story Contributors during such period. Eligibility is further restricted to individuals aged 18 years or over. Employees of Circle In and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Circle In reserves the right to, at any time, verify any individual’s eligibility for the Prize Draw and may disqualify any individual from eligibility if it has reason there has been non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
5. Prizes: The prizes for winning Contributors are awarded in the form of e-gift cards to the value of AUD$50.00 (or similar value of local currency of the territory in which a winning Contributor resides). Circle In reserves discretion to change the value of the prize to be awarded from time to time while the Prize Draw is ongoing. e-gift cards that are awarded as prizes are subject to the applicable e-gift card terms and conditions, including any age restrictions that may apply to purchases.
6. Selection of winners: Circle In will draw winners from the pool of eligible Contributors – either at random or by review of the relevant Real Story content. Only the winning Contributor(s) will be notified by email. Winners must respond within 72 hours of the notification email being sent - or the prize may be re-allocated. Relocation will be based on the remaining pool of eligible Contributor(s). Whilst Circle In reserves discretion to announce the names of the winning Contributor(s), it will not be under any obligation to do so. Circle In will arrange for provision of e-gift cards to the Prize Draw winners. e-gift cards awarded in the Prize Draw are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
7. Frequency of Prize Draw: The Prize Draw is expected to be drawn monthly, however Circle In reserves the discretion to draw winners more or less frequently than that, or not at all.
8. Collection of personal information: Circle In collects personal information from Contributors for the purpose of conducting the Prize Draw and may, in the course of business, disclose such personal information to third parties, as required. Personal information collected during the course of the Real Story submission process and the Prize Draw and is subject to the Personal Information Collection Statement and associated terms and conditions found here.
9. Exclusion of liability: Circle In will not be liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to the Prize Draw or the use of any prize awarded.
10. Circle In’s discretion: Circle In’s decision in relation to the Prize Draw and in the exercise of any discretion reserved to it in these Terms and Conditions is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Circle In reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Prize Draw, including these Terms and Conditions, without notice.
11. Governing law: The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
